In the 36th minute Çağlar Demirer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paşa İşçen during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in GEOMATİC FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty!
