Eloy Idacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Tom Misaki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. A collision led to Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tom Misaki hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Ubaldo Santikurtz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Eloy Idacio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Masao Koriotto during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Masao Koriotto to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Idacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 36th minute of the match. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Idacio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Eloy Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 64th minute of play. After 65 minutes of play Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Tom Misaki was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 66th match minute, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Misaki to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ defense, Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Idacio. The Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Idacio should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Tomas Berganza sped through Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eloy Idacio. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Eloy Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 93rd minute of play. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Idacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Eloy Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Panama players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
