Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Willy Herzog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Mexico's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henry Dalström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Macos Graciani in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tunge Titans's Stellan Lund. In the 33rd minute, Khamzat Chimaev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Gaona had several of the Tunge Titans's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Willy Herzog as he didn't even see the shot coming. Willy Herzog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Alberto Tafalla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A sloppy throw-in by Macos Graciani in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tunge Titans's Werner van Dam. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willy Herzog read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Henry Dalström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Herzog having to interfere. Willy Herzog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of the match. Tunge Titans's attentive Cristian Salles managed to snatch the ball when Macos Graciani made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Tunge Titans succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
