Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Okan Golovichev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Okan Golovichev came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Marcus Mazza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Marcus Mazza made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okan Golovichev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes in the game Mikail Öztan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Çağdaş Ersayın. Marcus Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 17th minute. Marcus Mazza came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marcus Mazza made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Marcus Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okan Golovichev in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Marcus Mazza in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Okan Golovichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karapinar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Axel Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Marcus Mazza, making the score, 2-1. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Golovichev in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Karapinar's Thad Castle was substituted for Okan Golovichev. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Thad Castle took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Karapinar's Marcus Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Carballar in the 57th minute of play. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Karapinar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Karapinar's goalie and right to Luis Cazalla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Karapinar's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thad Castle took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Thad Castle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Marcus Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Thad Castle scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 3-5. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thad Castle, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Orlando Tafalla tried in the game's 81st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Pedro Manzanares. An annoying self made goal, 3-6. 83 minutes into the match, Thad Castle notched a goal, 3-7, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 98th minute of play forced Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karapinar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
