Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. If Duda Imperatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Mees received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Henter Somosd getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Teodosio Lawrence hit a great ball. FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király. Gábor Király was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gábor Király saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Gábor Király reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Imperatore hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart van Goetsenhoven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart van Goetsenhoven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart van Goetsenhoven in the 60th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart van Goetsenhoven, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristóf Szőllőssy during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gábor Király had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 64 minutes Joel Gaona managed to get himself in a good position for a goal as Mexico's supporters held their thumbs. Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn, in perfect balance and slotted the ball in at the right post. The score was now 0-2. In the 68th match minute, FC Henter Somosd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristóf Szőllőssy to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes FC Henter Somosd got a freekick which was hit by Kristóf Szőllőssy. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gábor Király read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tamás Antal went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gábor Király made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 78th minute. In the 87th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gábor Király saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, FC Henter Somosd's Frank Mees nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Gábor Király showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After 97 minutes FC Henter Somosd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick.
