Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuratay Can was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Doruk Sağıt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. A collision led to SÜVEYDİYE TAFA SPOR getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Refik Oğuzalp hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doruk Sağıt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 94 minutes, Felix Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the SÜVEYDİYE TAFA SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
