Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Agroboys SM - CIMZ getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Pedrão Tepedino hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Valério Monteiro in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! The referee gave Agroboys SM - CIMZ a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cássio Alcântara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. 0-1. Paulinho Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Agroboys SM - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrão Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Hoffmann scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Hoffmann in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. Acácio Freitas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 39 minutes in the game, Eliseo Noboa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valério Monteiro having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Marco Hoffmann made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Régis Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Marco Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Hoffmann to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Régis Porto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Régis Porto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Cássio Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A hard shot 65 in the game by Marco Hoffmann from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. After 66 minutes, Giuseppe Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agroboys SM - CIMZ and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Machado. 71 minutes into the match, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Régis Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Lautaro Puig might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valério Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Puig ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Marco Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Porto in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Agroboys SM - CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
