Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, 盛世 高文竞 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. NFC Eagles 22's Joeri Donderwinkel got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciccio Tacconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when 盛世 高文竞 got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciccio Tacconi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, 盛世 高文竞 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and 盛世 高文竞 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Moermans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Bruno Beldad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 盛世 高文竞 made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when 盛世 高文竞 came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NFC Eagles 22's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raymond Schouten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 76th minute of play. 盛世 高文竞 took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 盛世 高文竞 to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 盛世 高文竞 went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Raymond Schouten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞. But to his dismay, 盛世 高文竞 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NFC Eagles 22 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
