Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Manolescu to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Mugurel Gârdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezia FC's Mugurel Gârdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play. Valeriu Manolescu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Sorin Dragușin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Honduras booed when Venezia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Ecobici didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mugurel Gârdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mugurel Gârdan was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Șeimeanu in the 42nd minute of play. George Pacuraru's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Pacuraru helped the player get up and apologised.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sorin Dragușin made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Dan Trapcea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After 51 played minutes Venezia FC got a freekick which was hit by Dan Trapcea. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mugurel Gârdan was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Mugurel Gârdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Espinar in the 57th minute of play. If Aurel Șeimeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edgar Coroian, made in the 67th minute of the game. In the 71st match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Manolescu to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugurel Gârdan. Venezia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Mugurel Gârdan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. If Ivan Gănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mugurel Gârdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezia FC's Mugurel Gârdan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venezia FC's Valeriu Manolescu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Sorin Dragușin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
