If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Moises Gayoso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Plebeyos's Eduardo Tuzzio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Arsenio Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Arsenio Cordeal in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
