Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Mito Gugovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7th play minutes Tomas Illescas shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Damián Martínez and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damián Martínez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damián Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oberá's Damián Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute Domingos Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Tristan in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alberto Cresencio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Cresencio's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The Oberá fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Oberá's Alberto Cresencio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Domingos Tristan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Alberto Cresencio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Cresencio made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Ur in the 51st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octavio Ur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 51 minute of play. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damián Martínez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Yao Peng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oberá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damián Martínez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oberá played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
