Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Palleschi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Ice Lekovski made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Tase Pandiloski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ice Lekovski struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi Club. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ice Lekovski in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the match, Bacardi Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Dennis Palleschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
