Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Giorgos Tomaras might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giorgos Tomaras ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Anestis Tzougarakis came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Bibis having to interfere. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markos Bibis having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Markos Bibis in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. PAOK's Markos Bibis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save PAOK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute of play forced PAOK's goalkeeper Markos Bibis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Isidoros Saloufidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Markos Bibis. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Nasos Patakos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidoros Saloufidis's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoros Saloufidis helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes PAOK got a freekick which was hit by Isidoros Saloufidis. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Tomas Illescas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 41st minute, Nasos Patakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match, Tomas Illescas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Markos Bibis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nasos Patakos in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anestis Tzougarakis to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anestis Tzougarakis went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Markos Bibis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 60th minute of play. Markos Bibis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anestis Tzougarakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nasos Patakos's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Anestis Tzougarakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When %teams%'s Nasos Patakos was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-5 just inside the left pole, 84 minutes into the game. Jonathan Ferrant was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Isidoros Saloufidis got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 91st minute of play forced PAOK's goalkeeper Markos Bibis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Nasos Patakos came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PAOK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
