Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Kerville having to interfere. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Kerville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Kerville having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Christian Kerville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Neal Weatherby came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Arty Behla hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christian Kerville was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neal Weatherby's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. Christian Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Steven Chaptal struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elderslie Magpies. In the 45th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Kerville was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neal Weatherby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Agustín Saelices took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Christian Kerville to make any attempt to save it. In the 55th match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Chaptal to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Kerville having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 57th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Elderslie Magpies's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Kerville quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. With a little luck, Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Christian Kerville in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Weatherby in the 76th minute of play. Elderslie Magpies were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rick Souness took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Christian Kerville in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Kerville didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Baldwin 舒 hit a great ball. Gilberto Fernandes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Kerville showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Baldwin 舒 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Kerville came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Ralph Gorham hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
