Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 7th minute of play. Stipe Pletikosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Nirvana in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of play forced Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Lorenzo Cazalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Fortuna 86 Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Emil Gierasik tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, Fortuna 86 Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Panikowski to maneuver through the defense. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 41st minute of play. After 42 played minutes Fortuna 86 Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Emil Gierasik. Fortuna 86 Szczecin made a substitution. Harun Mengüer replaced Roberto Nirvana. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Fortuna 86 Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by István Markos to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Harun Mengüer came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Gierasik who took care of the corner kick. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Fortuna 86 Szczecin from getting a goal against them. With his leg Stipe Pletikosa managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 80th minute. Harun Mengüer struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortuna 86 Szczecin. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Harun Mengüer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Stipe Pletikosa made a huge save. After having played for 93 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Fortuna 86 Szczecin booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
