With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Salvador Gil struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18. Luckas Baerts short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 30th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Christobal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Christobal went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luckas Baert in the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the game Generoso Egun made a throw-in which Anastasio Tibalt played forward. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luckas Baert was the one to do the kick off. 4-0 became the score in the 51st minute when Arturo Christobal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luckas Baert in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Luckas Baert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Anastasio Tibalt got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute Arturo Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salvador Romelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. András Tóth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Chaime came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Salvador Gil tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Luckas Baert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luckas Baert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Luckas Baert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Dionisio Hug got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
