Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Blas Beila made the kick off which started today's match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Urbasa having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Daniel Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 10th minute of play. Blas Beila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 16th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play forced Gladiadores's goalkeeper Daniel Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Urbasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Gladiadores's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Urbasa quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blas Beila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Marciano Pettinelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Blas Beila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Pettinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Urbasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Beila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Pablo Innocenzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Gladiadores made a substitution. Albino Belo replaced Blas Beila. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Belo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Pettinelli in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Urbasa came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Urbasa stood somewhat misplaced when Cristian Sancho came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 86 minute. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Belo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pablo Innocenzio hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Pettinelli in the 96th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gladiadores fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
