The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Passos in the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Haiti's Noel Seide got control of the ball when Abdika Borbon tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Abdika Borbon put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Noel Seide. The supporters of KUN SPORTS booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Claude Ulysse didn't get a good kick on the ball. KUN SPORTS's Jorge Guilabertus shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Noel Seide but with some difficulty. 15 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Matai came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Rodney Emmanuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haiti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KUN SPORTS the free kick. KUN SPORTS's Abdika Borbon was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 25 minutes into the match, KUN SPORTS's Abdika Borbon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Seide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haiti's Noel Seide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Haiti from getting a goal against them. Dionisio Matai's late challenge caught a Haiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dionisio Matai helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KUN SPORTS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dionisio Matai hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Abdika Borbon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 54 minutes of play, KUN SPORTS's Dionisio Matai made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Dionisio Matai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdika Borbon in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Haiti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
