Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. G.D Vitória de Sernache's Dionisio Frasco got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paras Burr, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Guido Mista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Mista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Mista in the 16th minute of play. Guido Mista took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, G.D Vitória de Sernache's Guilherme Prada got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ye Sang came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ye Sang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ye Sang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Mista came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. G.D Vitória de Sernache's Guilherme Prada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ye Sang managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.D Vitória de Sernache's supporters rose to their feet, but Ye Sang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Frasco in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Dionisio Frasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Ye Sang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guido Mista scored 0-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Mista was the one to do the kick off. When G.D Vitória de Sernache's Dionisio Frasco in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 66th minute, G.D Vitória de Sernache's Dionisio Frasco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 69th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Frasco had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lúcio Lamego hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Dionisio Frasco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 79th playminute. After having played for 85 minutes, Guido Mista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G.D Vitória de Sernache's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Mista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Ye Sang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Guido Mista scored 0-8 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Mista in the 98th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Frasco got free with Benito Sanz in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. G.D Vitória de Sernache's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
