Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Randers A.F.C.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kornelius Lynbek came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Randers A.F.C. defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kornelius Lynbek. The Randers A.F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kornelius Lynbek should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 13th minute. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Baagland, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kornelius Lynbek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Tycho Tapager charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tycho Tapager the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tycho Tapager to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Kornelius Lynbek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kornelius Lynbek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kornelius Lynbek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Randers A.F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Kornelius Lynbek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaj Rubaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Randers A.F.C.'s Kornelius Lynbek. Kornelius Lynbek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hansmorten Wrang kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kornelius Lynbek having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hansmorten Wrang. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kornelius Lynbek having to interfere. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Kornelius Lynbek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Pasbøl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the game's 83rd minute Ecuador's Daniel Zorita took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Kornelius Lynbek and thus the score was 0-8. After having played for 89 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Randers A.F.C.'s zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kornelius Lynbek came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador played a much better game than Randers A.F.C. and deserved their victory. The Randers A.F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
