The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Anan Fachrurozi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Melani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Nikodemski in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Wesley Nicholson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Whity Pool United booed when Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ståhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Henry Soussan in the 18th minute really tested Bernabe Benat's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 20th minute Wesley Nicholson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Benat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Nicholson in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Whity Pool United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Waclaw Kaczanek hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Dariusz Nikodemski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Angelo Melani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charis Vlastaras's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernabe Benat firmly grabbed it by the left post. Whity Pool United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henry Soussan in the 37th minute. Angelo Melani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Whity Pool United's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Santana came free, but Angelo Melani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Wolverine A.C.【LBF】 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charis Vlastaras was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Whity Pool United got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Kaczanek. Bernabe Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syd Ely, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's goal looked a bit too open when Charis Vlastaras came free, but Bernabe Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charis Vlastaras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernabe Benat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Bernabe Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Syd Ely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Charis Vlastaras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Benat. Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charis Vlastaras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Whity Pool United made a substitution. Stevie Moore replaced Wesley Nicholson. In the 75th minute, Stevie Moore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Whity Pool United's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Nikodemski came free, but Angelo Melani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's Godofredo Eguntsenti got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Syd Ely cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Bernabe Benat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 minutes of play, Whity Pool United's Waclaw Kaczanek made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernabe Benat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
