With a little luck, Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson got control of the ball when Charly Tevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dragon Hunter's Gerardo Oalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth McKinnell in the 13th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Cristian Emeterio in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Catholic Church's Mathias Björk. Gerardo Oalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Kristiansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charly Tevez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Henrik Ingemarsson made a huge save. Antonio Ramirez made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Angel Firman immediately put the ball in play. 28 minutes into the match, Dragon Hunter's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Kristiansson came free, but Gerardo Oalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Catholic Church got a corner. Dragon Hunter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kenneth McKinnell ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute Charly Tevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charly Tevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrik Ingemarsson having to make a save. Henrik Ingemarsson made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Charly Tevez sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th match minute, Dragon Hunter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Charly Tevez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henrik Ingemarsson, 1-0. A collision led to Dragon Hunter getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Melquiades Urre hit a great ball. After 43 minutes Dragon Hunter's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kenneth McKinnell who took care of the corner kick. In the 46thth minute of the game Henry Kristiansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragon Hunter's Gerardo Oalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Catholic Church's Kenneth McKinnell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Oalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenneth McKinnell made a kick off. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Tevez in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Charly Tevez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Ingemarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Tevez in the 67th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Dragon Hunter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Nuxila to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Catholic Church players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dragon Hunter.
