The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Dragon Hunter's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth McKinnell came free, but Gerardo Oalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes Catholic Church got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth McKinnell. In the 9th minute, Dante Sol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth McKinnell in the 20th minute of play forced Dragon Hunter's goalkeeper Gerardo Oalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Catholic Church got a corner. Dragon Hunter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kenneth McKinnell ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 27th minute Charly Tevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Kristiansson got free with Gerardo Oalo in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Catholic Church's Kenneth McKinnell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerardo Oalo. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. Dante Sol kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Charly Tevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Dragon Hunter's Charly Tevez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrik Ingemarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Catholic Church's Stig-Åke Ljungberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fredrik Ahlbom, made in the 56th minute of the game. In the 59th minute of the match Cristian Emeterio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrik Ingemarsson skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Björk in the 66th minute of play forced Dragon Hunter's goalkeeper Gerardo Oalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Kenneth McKinnell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragon Hunter's Gerardo Oalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dragon Hunter's Gerardo Oalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth McKinnell in the 75th minute of play. Kenneth McKinnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Oalo having to interfere. Henrik Ingemarsson was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Charly Tevez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Charly Tevez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Henrik Ingemarsson made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Charly Tevez sent off a good shot on target. Henrik Ingemarsson was a little too slow when Charly Tevez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-4. The Catholic Church fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dragon Hunter were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
