The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaizkine Escobar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Emilio Bikendi made a huge save. With an all-out effort, U Alcaravaneras's Emilio Bikendi threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lionel Ronaldo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 27 minutes into the game, U Alcaravaneras's Jos Decremer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Bikendi came out of the goal and Gaizkine Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Alvaro Gorka got a free kick in the 35th minute. Emilio Bikendi made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Gaizkine Escobar sent off a good shot on target. Ceandro Castillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emilio Bikendi could save by the left post. 41 minutes into the match, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's goal looked a bit too open when Ceandro Castillo came free, but Emilio Bikendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Bikendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceandro Castillo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 45th match minute, DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Delfino to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.
