Bavo Van Eeckhout didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Funes Mori went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Rejunte de perros's Marcelo Armani got control of the ball when Emanuel Vanooteghem tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Sinsin's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Funes Mori came free, but Bavo Van Eeckhout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Funes Mori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Funes Mori's late challenge caught a Sinsin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Funes Mori helped the player get up and apologised. Rogelio Funes Mori hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Rogelio Funes Mori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bavo Van Eeckhout was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Sinsin defense, Rogelio Funes Mori kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bavo Van Eeckhout. The Sinsin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bavo Van Eeckhout should have stopped the shot. After the first half Rejunte de perros were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rejunte de perros's Thomás Barral was substituted for Rogelio Funes Mori. Bavo Van Eeckhout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Errolan in the 52nd minute of the match. Sinsin's Garry Clijsters managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulo Fix in the 55 minute of the game. Bavo Van Eeckhout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomás Barral in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Thomás Barral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bavo Van Eeckhout, 1-4. Bernard Pacolet scored 2-4 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Armani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A nice corner shot did that Ernst Matthijs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Armani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Ernst Matthijs put it in 3-5 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Armani. Serge Grandidiers short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Bavo Van Eeckhout to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bavo Van Eeckhout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Sinsin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rejunte de perros's performance. The match ended with a win for Rejunte de perros.
