After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rogelio Funes Mori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rejunte de perros's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Funes Mori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukács Bánhegyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rejunte de perros getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rogelio Funes Mori hit a great ball. Marcelo Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Belarmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Funes Mori in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukács Bánhegyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Ernesto Belarmo made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Armani. Rejunte de perros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marcelo Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miladin Kirichev in the 33rd minute of play. Marcelo Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Belarmo's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Belarmo came free, but Marcelo Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Eliasson in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Hungarian Olympic were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Rejunte de perros's Ivan Errolan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when Miladin Kirichev came free, but Marcelo Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ernesto Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rejunte de perros's Jeremias Stephen was substituted for Serge Grandidier. Rejunte de perros's Marcelo Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Rejunte de perros from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Armani was a little too slow when Edmund Eliasson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-2. Miladin Kirichev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Armani having to interfere. Marcelo Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmund Eliasson's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Lukács Bánhegyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Barral in the 83rd minute of play. Miladin Kirichev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Armani having to interfere. Ernesto Belarmo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Marcelo Armani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungarian Olympic. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Marcelo Armani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lukács Bánhegyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Barral in the 89th minute of the match. Hungarian Olympic's Edmund Eliasson suffered a concussion after 90 minutes and had to leave the field. After 90 minutes, Urbano Vimaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rejunte de perros and the Hungarian Olympic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urbano Vimaro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Cheng Qian Qiang. In the 94th minute, Miladin Kirichev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rejunte de perros fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungarian Olympic were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
