Iacob Povară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ásbjørn Jónsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară got control of the ball when Ásbjørn Jónsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ingi Castilho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Latarețu in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match F.C CLUJ MEDICINA got a corner. Tinganes Bóltfelag's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luca Pancu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Viorel Gurzău heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 22 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goal looked a bit too open when Símun Niclasen came free, but Iacob Povară reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Silviu Latarețu sped through Tinganes Bóltfelag's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ingi Castilho. Iacob Povară came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tinganes Bóltfelag's Ásbjørn Jónsson. But to his dismay, Ásbjørn Jónsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Ásbjørn Jónsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Iacob Povară however easily saved by the left post. Ásbjørn Jónsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Iacob Povară made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Ásbjørn Jónsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iacob Povară was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Poul Enok Kwieciński to make the kick off. If Sorin Cupșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iacob Povară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ásbjørn Jónsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Iosif Găman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ingi Castilho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iulian Nicoricis short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Ingi Castilho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 64 minutes into the match, Símun Niclasen notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară. Iacob Povară was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA made a substitution. Francisc Ciocoiu replaced Iosif Găman. With a little luck, Tinganes Bóltfelag's Ingi Castilho got control of the ball when Francisc Ciocoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iacob Povară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ásbjørn Jónsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Iacob Povară came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Tinganes Bóltfelag's Símun Niclasen. But to his dismay, Símun Niclasen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Nichifor Gugea was substituted for Viorel Gurzău. Iacob Povară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poul Enok Kwieciński in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Poul Enok Kwieciński had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iacob Povară. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Poul Enok Kwieciński was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After 89 minutes, Sorin Cupșa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA and the Tinganes Bóltfelag players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Sorin Cupșa got a free kick in the 89th minute. Iacob Povară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ásbjørn Jónsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Tinganes Bóltfelag's Ingi Castilho got control of the ball when Francisc Ciocoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were awarded a corner. Luca Pancu went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 96th minute Rafał Mikkelsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tinganes Bóltfelag.
