The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Universo de Goles. Vergaray Sedan had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Wilbert Ugalde's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Wilbert Ugalde scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vergaray Sedan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Piarres Cabredo threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Universo de Goles's Julio Ursueguia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 16th minute Wilbert Ugalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vergaray Sedan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Téo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Castañon in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Cuero Buseth notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of El Universo de Goles's Vergaray Sedan. Vergaray Sedan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, Cuero Buseth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvi Verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 24thth minute of the game Cuero Buseth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Universo de Goles's Vergaray Sedan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cuero Buseth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vergaray Sedan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. A hard shot 27 in the game by Yoelvis Estenaga from a close distance when the talented Téo Leite managed to make a qualified save. Alvi Verde's players were relieved. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alvi Verde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Monge Lira was slow to take the kick. During this time El Universo de Goles's players had a chance to rest. Vergaray Sedan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cuero Buseth's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Cuero Buseth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Universo de Goles's Vergaray Sedan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vergaray Sedan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuero Buseth, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Wilbert Ugalde took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vergaray Sedan. Vergaray Sedan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 44th minute, Cuero Buseth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvi Verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 47 minutes of play, Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vergaray Sedan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cuero Buseth made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cuero Buseth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ramiro Outon fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Universo de Goles's protests and gave Ramiro Outon a yellow card for diving instead. Cuero Buseth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vergaray Sedan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuero Buseth, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 61 minutes, Cuero Buseth made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. El Universo de Goles's Vergaray Sedan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If William Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvi Verde's Rodolfo Perfecto was substituted for Cuero Buseth. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Rodolfo Perfecto put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Vergaray Sedan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Perfecto in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vergaray Sedan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Alvi Verde fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Alvi Verde's Rodolfo Perfecto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79th minute Rodolfo Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vergaray Sedan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Universo de Goles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! If Ramiro Castañon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Rodolfo Perfecto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 93 minutes, Rodolfo Perfecto made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. El Universo de Goles's Vergaray Sedan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Rodolfo Perfecto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rodolfo Perfecto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Vergaray Sedan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vergaray Sedan was a little too slow when Rodolfo Perfecto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 98th minute. The score was now 0-13. The El Universo de Goles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alvi Verde were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
