Zeledon Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Benitez in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Emilio Benitez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Lordi. Jedi Knights's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Benitez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fabricio Checa might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Lordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabricio Checa ran back to his position shaking his head. Zeledon Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Checa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Zeledon Lordi came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Itacaruaré's Fabricio Checa. But to his dismay, Fabricio Checa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Zeledon Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Checa in the 16th minute of play. Higinio Poz kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18th play minutes Fabricio Checa shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Zeledon Lordi and just under the crossbar into goal. Fabricio Checa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Zeledon Lordi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itacaruaré. After 35 minutes, Jimeno Ostargi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jedi Knights and the Itacaruaré players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Jedi Knights got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Montez. In the 46th minute, Emilio Benitez made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Lordi. Jedi Knights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.

Fabricio Checa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Lordi having to make a save. Fabricio Checa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Zeledon Lordi made a huge save. Fabricio Checa in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zeledon Lordi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 57 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Checa came free, but Zeledon Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Ostargi in the 58th minute of play forced Itacaruaré's goalkeeper Lancelot Cambero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Ubelteso in the 60th minute of the match. Fabricio Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Lordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Checa in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Fabricio Checa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itacaruaré fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Itacaruaré made a substitution. Samuel Zumiza replaced Victor Qwinton. Fabricio Checas short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Zeledon Lordi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 72 minutes into the game, Fabricio Checa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Zeledon Lordi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Fabricio Checa put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Zeledon Lordi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Checa in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Lordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jedi Knights's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elvio Vergaray was slow to take the kick. During this time Itacaruaré's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Emilio Benitez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Lordi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Jedi Knights's Zeledon Lordi got control of the ball when Fabricio Checa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabricio Checa in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zeledon Lordi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zeledon Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Checa in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Fabricio Checa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zeledon Lordi. The goal made the score 0-8.
