The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leon Kosmatka made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Boleslaw Golob sent off a good shot on target. If Mattin Boiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bruno Alves hit a great ball. Leon Kosmatka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armindo Belém in the 12th minute. Leon Kosmatka made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Armindo Belém sent off a good shot on target. When Marco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Seco couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute Emerson Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrāds Rabkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Rafael Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INTER FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinará FC the free kick. After 31 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Veiga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Cruz in the 40th minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Konrāds Rabkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Franco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, INTER FC's Emerson Cruz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Konrāds Rabkins came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INTER FC reached it. When Armindo Belém fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinará FC's protests and gave Armindo Belém a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vinará FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Armindo Belém hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Vinará FC's Jonatan Constancio got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Konrāds Rabkins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Seco in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Marco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konrāds Rabkins. Vinará FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. INTER FC's Mandi Oca was substituted for Emerson Cruz. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Rafael Veiga got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mattin Boiro came free, but Leon Kosmatka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes Mandi Oca rounded Vinará FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 75th minute, Bruno Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konrāds Rabkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Linhares in the 80th minute of play. Jonatan Constancio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Hortêncio Linhares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Konrāds Rabkins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Konrāds Rabkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mandi Oca in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Golob in the 93rd minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INTER FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
