But to his dismay, Cai Yuan Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Pankracy Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cai Yuan Yuan to make the kick off. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Pankracy Zajonc made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Ignacio Mastache made a precise shot to the right of Pankracy Zajonc. MZ Fénix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
