G.D Vitória de Sernache's Valdemar Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karlus Waugh in the 4th minute of play. Finlay Stair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Heitor Festas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Heitor Festas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Veríssimo Velasques notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarell Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Assis having to interfere. Jamaica's Karlus Waugh got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarell Hill struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Valdemar Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamaica. A hard shot 24 in the game by Finlay Stair from a close distance when the talented Valdemar Assis managed to make a qualified save. G.D Vitória de Sernache's players were relieved. In the 25th minute, Heitor Festas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 27th minute, Manuel Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarell Hill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Assis having to make a save. Jamaica's Leron Sale got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 39th minute. Valdemar Assis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karlus Waugh showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 42 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

After 53 played minutes G.D Vitória de Sernache got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Festas. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veríssimo Velasques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demonde Jacobson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Heitor Festas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 62 minute of play. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heitor Festas in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. In the 72nd minute, Jamaica's Jamaall Padmore seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jamaall Padmore the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jamaica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jamaall Padmore had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Jamaall Padmore got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 79th minute, Afonso Viegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Heitor Festas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Heitor Festas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Demonde Jacobson. Heitor Festas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. G.D Vitória de Sernache's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
