Samuel Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Asteri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Asteri was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Gilberto Eleazar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 58th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Volvimos mejores's goalkeeper Samuel Asteri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Samuel Asteri to make any attempt to save it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Dante Lacasa had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping Eurico Lima's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Asteri made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Volvimos mejores's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Volvimos mejores's goalie and right to Luca Zorita. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Volvimos mejores's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 85th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Asteri. Samuel Asteri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Samuel Asteri made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Samuel Asteri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
