Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Gürcan Orguntay got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 13th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Zachary Parzysz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. After 20 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Šimunko during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruno Šimunko ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gürcan Orguntay hit a great ball. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Zachary Parzysz got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Arijan Zlatarević was substituted for Ninoslav Stipanić. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Alex Chicote with Tomas Illescas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bruno Šimunko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 minutes, Zachary Parzysz made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ made a substitution. Stanislav Miškić replaced Lino Budimir. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Stanislav Miškić quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 76th minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Zachary Parzysz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salvador Gisbert made in the 92nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Patricio Costa however managed to control. With a little luck, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Elder de Toledo got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line.
