JK Koljala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when JK Koljala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maarek Ernesaks didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eero Treial showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Edvard Kupits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eero Treial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to JK Koljala getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jaanus Lokko hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 31st minute. 1-2 became the score in the 33rd minute when Edvard Kupits elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Riivo Aller kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, JK Koljala's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Eero Treial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JK Koljala's Eero Treial did a great save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Maarek Ernesaks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eero Treial tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, JK Koljala's Eero Treial got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eero Treial having to make a save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janari Õunapuu replaced Edvard Kupits. Härmo Redi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Härmo Redi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 81 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Eero Treial managed to make a qualified save. JK Koljala's players were relieved. Cristian Sancho in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eero Treial, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
