Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kyle Davies took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eric Pricop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Ilie Enceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Ilie Enceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Troy Kennedy notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Ostroveni's Eric Pricop. Eric Pricop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th match minute, FC Ostroveni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Şteţ to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Enceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Charles Cox hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. FC Ostroveni's Eric Pricop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 29th minute of play. Mihai Paulică was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Curacao. Kyle Davies stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eric Pricop. 0-2. Ilie Enceanu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ostroveni. The FC Ostroveni players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curacao were winning 0-2.

Ilie Enceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Ostroveni's Șerban Şteţ got a free kick in the 61st minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Luca Buricea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ostroveni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Buricea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilie Enceanu struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ostroveni. Stanley Wallace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Pricop having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Eusebiu Beraru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ostroveni and the Curacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes FC Ostroveni got a freekick which was hit by Eusebiu Beraru. Mădălin Focșa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Barrett. Curacao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luca Buricea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ilie Enceanu came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC Ostroveni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilie Enceanu couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Luca Buricea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ostroveni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Ostroveni fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Eric Pricop, was totally fooled by Curacao's Kyle Davies, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The FC Ostroveni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Curacao were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
