The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Lara Guadalupi managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Colombia's Abram Sarmiento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Geert Wijgaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Geert Wijgaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Geert Wijgaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Cazalla hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geert Wijgaert in the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Geert Wijgaert managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAGNIFICOS.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geert Wijgaert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, MAGNIFICOS.FC's Geert Wijgaert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Geert Wijgaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert Wijgaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geert Wijgaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lara Guadalupi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Lara Guadalupi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Kevin Mastache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geert Wijgaert made a kick off. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Geert Wijgaert sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the MAGNIFICOS.FC defense, Kevin Mastache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lara Guadalupi. The MAGNIFICOS.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lara Guadalupi should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, MAGNIFICOS.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Lara Guadalupi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 66th minute of play forced MAGNIFICOS.FC's goalkeeper Lara Guadalupi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geert Wijgaert got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MAGNIFICOS.FC's Davi Vaz was substituted for Paul Albeanu. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Geert Wijgaert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. After 86 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Luis Cazalla. Luis Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Lara Guadalupi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Kevin Mastache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAGNIFICOS.FC's Lara Guadalupi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 94th minute of play. Colombia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
