Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Venko Devenski started the match with the kick off. A very nice done corner allowed Luis Andino to score against Dorel Călin in FC LEVSKI ОК's goal. 0-1 after 9 minutes. Dorel Călin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorel Călin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC LEVSKI ОК getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Vasko Stepanov hit a great ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after FC LEVSKI ОК's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Peycho Zheynov was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 37 minutes into the match, Irinel Greavu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play forced FC LEVSKI ОК's goalkeeper Dorel Călin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Dorel Călin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Greavu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC LEVSKI ОК's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peycho Zheynov in the 54th minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dorel Călin made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Peycho Zheynov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorel Călin came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 64th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dorel Călin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peycho Zheynov hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Călin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorel Călin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by FC LEVSKI ОК's Peycho Zheynov. But to his dismay, Peycho Zheynov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Dorel Călin in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
