Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Joaquim Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio de Carvalho in the 12th minute of play. Breguete FC's Jailson Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Breguete FC from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio de Carvalho in the 14th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benê Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With a little luck, Breguete FC's Jailson Soares got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Fernandez came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Eugênio de Carvalho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goalkeeper Jailson Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a left leg Jailson Soares saved Breguete FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nando Custódio during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Breguete FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nando Custódio hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jailson Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Breguete FC to win.
