Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ecuador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fc-Criuleni-City were winning 0-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Li Feng Guo saved Fc-Criuleni-City from getting behind. Edson-Arantes Pelé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fc-Criuleni-City's Li Feng Guo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play. In the 89th minute, Maxim Scobioalã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of Fc-Criuleni-City echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ecuador had held the ball for most of the match.
