Tomás Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 20th minute of the match. Tomás Pepillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute of play. 32 minutes in the game Jose Carita did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Isidoro Sarmiento. After having played for 35 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Florentino Dominix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Dominix's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgard Mendiko hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Vicente Guerau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Panama players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Deportivo de Coba from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
