Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Václav Křivan came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralondo Ansola kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Eliseo Noboa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sylwester Pieprz to make any attempt to save it. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Souto went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Václav Křivan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 35 minutes into the game, Nebojša Bombis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Pereira in the 39th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Van Basten hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Pekárová rodinka's 苏弘志 got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Pekárová rodinka's Rafael Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 48th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Pieprz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Václav Křivan was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. When Ralondo Ansola came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Pekárová rodinka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralondo Ansola couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Ralondo Ansola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Van Basten. In the 66th minute, Rafael Pereira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-4. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute Rafael Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 苏弘志 fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pekárová rodinka's protests and gave 苏弘志 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Pekárová rodinka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 苏弘志 to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylwester Pieprz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mathias Souto came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Pekárová rodinka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Souto couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Lautaro Puig made a precise shot to the right of Sylwester Pieprz. Pekárová rodinka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. When the final whistle sounded Pekárová rodinka left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
