Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Rune Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10th play minutes Agustín Saelices shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Rune Vacker and just under the crossbar into goal. Rune Vacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of the match. Rune Vacker came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rune Vacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of the match. Rune Vacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Nils-Eric Johansson put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Eric Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC NILS's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Vacker came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Rune Vacker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Näver. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Vennerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC NILS defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Vacker. The FC NILS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Vacker should have stopped the shot. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Leif Ahlkvist made the kick off in the second half. FC NILS's Rune Vacker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rune Vacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Rune Vacker made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rune Vacker. That made the score 0-4 after 61 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 64th minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Rune Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Vacker was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Daniel Zorita sped through FC NILS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Vacker. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Vacker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rune Vacker was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. FC NILS's Rune Vacker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save FC NILS from getting a goal against them. Ecuador played a much better game than FC NILS and deserved their victory. The FC NILS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
