Moises Fernandino came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvinho Koehler could save by the left post. In the 10th minute, Moises Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Silvinho Koehler. Se7e's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvinho Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 19th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Leguizamo to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Negri in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felippe Machado during the 25th minute. The Se7e fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvinho Koehler should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Se7e's Romário Souto. Se7e's Felippe Machado quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentino Ferrant, made in the 65th minute of the game. Se7e's attentive Romário Souto managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. Hermínio Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Silvinho Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Negri couldn't finish the play. Valentino Ferrant made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mateo Leguizamo immediately put the ball in play. The throw-in from Luis Rubio in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Se7e's Romário Souto. Silvinho Koehler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. El Salvador were victorious despite being under pressure from Se7e for much of the match.
