After having played for 3 minutes, Jairo Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caballeritos del Baile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Deunoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Luisito Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Jairo Deunoro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. With 12 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Mina commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 12th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Emil Rasialdo scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jairo Deunoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Deunoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Deunoro in the 19th minute. Jairo Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. When Emil Rasialdo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caballeritos del Baile's protests and gave Emil Rasialdo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Emil Rasialdo hit a great ball. 27 minutes in the game Arnulfo Txanton did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jairo Deunoro. The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Caballeritos del Baile's Agustin Ilixo. Gonzalo Lujan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jairo Deunoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Jairo Deunoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Jairo Deunoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Deunoro made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Deunoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Jairo Deunoro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Deunoro in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Deunoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jairo Deunoro came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Caballeritos del Baile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Deunoro couldn't finish the play. Luisito Gaizkine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Luisito Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Caballeritos del Baile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. Caballeritos del Baile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
