Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lisandro Nuñez got the match started through his kick off. In the 34th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisandro Nuñez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-2 in the 36 minute of play. Lv Ang Jing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Nuñez in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Nuñez in the 54th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Agustín Saelices fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Froilan Jatsu replaced Isaias Rosario. SAN LORENZO FC's Ciriaco Cordarrell was substituted for Lisandro Nuñez. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Dario Astigar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ciriaco Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Cordarrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dario Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wen Lang Qing didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Shao Zhen Xiao sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ecuador's Julio Vera didn't even have to move. After 92 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Lv Tian Yuan. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SAN LORENZO FC.
