Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lisandro Nuñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAN LORENZO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 14th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SAN LORENZO FC's Julien Corbeau managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 15 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Nuñez in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Lisandro Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Lisandro Nuñez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Nuñez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. SAN LORENZO FC's attentive Julien Corbeau managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Nuñez got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Artur Quintas got a free kick in the 36th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SAN LORENZO FC's Wen Lang Qing.

If Isaias Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lisandro Nuñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lisandro Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Nuñez came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SAN LORENZO FC's Froilan Jatsu was substituted for Isaias Rosario. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 76th minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dario Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Cordarrell took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
