The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Lu Ladron kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Nores. That made the score 1-6 in the 51 minute of play. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válbson de Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite this Jacobo Nores quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The corner led Motta Futebol Clube's Danilo Arantes to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacobo Nores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Motta Futebol Clube's Armandinho Carvalho got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Motta Futebol Clube's Armandinho Carvalho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. The Paraguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Motta Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Motta Futebol Clube.
