Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stephen Clapham kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sly Collier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Stephen Clapham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Sly Collier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 6th minute of play. Sly Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvester Odell in the 9th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvester Odell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sly Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Stickleback Utd Xl booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sly Collier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play. Sly Collier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute of play. When Felix Luque fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Felix Luque a yellow card for diving instead. Dante Lacasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Richie Byfield. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvester Odell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sly Collier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sly Collier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. Stickleback Utd Xl's Cliff Flower was substituted for Kevin Ahlbeck. In the 49th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stickleback Utd Xl's Richie Byfield shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 50th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dante Lacasa but with some difficulty.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Stickleback Utd Xl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gary Pettifer to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Clapham in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when Stickleback Utd Xl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Howlett didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Stickleback Utd Xl getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cliff Flower hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mexico's Joel Gaona tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Olly Paley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sly Collier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 72nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Howlett in the 75th minute of the match. Stickleback Utd Xl's Stephen Clapham got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Sly Collier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Olly Paley notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mexico played a much better game than Stickleback Utd Xl and deserved their victory. The Stickleback Utd Xl players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
