Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mariano Lacasa made the kick off and thus started the match. Thiago Pliego was a little too slow when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 6th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Cimpoi to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego, 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 17th minute of play. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cãlin Damaschin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alan Tamayo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 35th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cãlin Damaschin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The CERRO PORTEÑO fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Cãlin Damaschin managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Cãlin Damaschin made a huge save. In the 71st match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis managed to work through Chile's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 80 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cãlin Damaschin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 85th minute. With a little luck, CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the CERRO PORTEÑO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes, Felix Garrido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the CERRO PORTEÑO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, CERRO PORTEÑO could leave the field as winners, despite Chile having more of the ball for most of the match.
